Many of us remember as a child singing “Jesus loves me, yes I know, because the Bible tells me so”. The Bible consists of 66 Books written by some 40 authors and stretches from Genesis to Revelation. As adults, when we reflect on the Bible, we come realize how true this song really is. While the Old Testament conceals Jesus and God’s “Redemptive Plan” for man, the New Testament reveals Who Jesus is and WHY He came. The Scripture found in John 3:16 best sums it up: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believed
in Him would not perish but have everlasting life”. The Bible is JESUS, “the Word made flesh”. By believing in Him Whom the Father sent, we WILL live eternally. The Bible is an exploratory view of one’s three-fold “self-journey”: our relationship with God as Divine Creator, our reliance on Christ as Redeemer and Savior, and our dependence on the Holy Spirit as Keeper and Comforter. Thank You God for loving us. Thank you Jesus for dying on the Cross just for us. Thank you for your new mercies each and every day. Thank you for making us “new” and for making us overcomers… Just like YOU. JESUS
